Launch Day - we all love our dogs, but some of us are Dachshund Mad!

Hallo to all Daxies and their Humans, from Twiglet, Alan and Nic.
Today we are very excited and happy to bring Dachshund Mad! into being.
This has been an interesting and fun project to date and I am sure will be even more so as the site expands to take on more subjects, areas of concern and beautiful pictures of our furry friends and all things relating to dachshunds. It is our intention to ensure relevancy across the world and we have early thoughts on creating parallel translated pages for those for whom English is not their first language.
Early in 2017 we will be adding a section in the Gallery to feature one or two video clips, not more than 5 minutes long and hosted on YouTube, with a weekly rotation and a theme. Not surprisingly our first theme will be 'Your Daxies on Christmas Day', so for all you budding Steven Spielbergs out there, get your cameras out and get shooting! If it really takes off, then we will look at having a dog-friendly prize for the daxies featured.
Please bear in mind that Dachshund Mad! will be regularly changing and may be prone to the occasional glitch, so if you have any issues on any part of the site, when viewed on PCs, Macs or Mobiles, please email us with details and we will jump right on it and correct any errors.
