In this season of good cheer, we generally have an excess of food and drink in the house and when visitors come by, out comes the plates and trays of human snacks, treats and sweetmeats.

But therein lies the problem - little legs attached to speedy bodies and controlled by greedy brains are ALWAYS looking for the chance of a smash-and-grab raid, whilst the humans are busy chatting.

Become an expert Risk Assessor and consider where snacks and treats are positioned. Keep eyes in the back of your head and you will have every chance of avoiding a late night drive to the Emergency Veterinary Service in your area.
