RSS (Real Simple Syndication) is an 'old' technology when it comes to web access, but it is still a very quick and easy way to keep in touch with news, blogs, articles, etc. from all around the web that YOU wish to know about.

How do I get it to work?

First get yourself a free RSS Reader from the web.

There are many, but for PC users and with Android and iOS apps a few of the best are: NewsBlur, Feedly or for pure Mac users try NetNewsWire.

Add the RSS feed links of your favourite sites to the reader

Most will be shown as an orange button, just like on our DogBlog, on the top-right of the page.

The RSS feed will look like this - http://www.dachshundmad.com/feed.xml

If the link does not have /feed.xml on the end, then it is not an RSS feed.

That's it. All done.

With this simple and small app open on your desktop or mobile device, every time we publish a new blog, your app will let you know that fresh content is incoming, saving you the trouble of remembering to visit the website dogblog page and check the latest information.
